KEEP WORKING some of you are a bit behind you can do this.
Please Package your files so I can give give you feedback and take a look. Even just a section. I can’t look at any files after 1pm on Saturday it takes me a while to leave you feedback so you need to get me the files, so I can give you feedback and you can make refinements. I won’t be able to take deep dive looks at your book between Monday and Wed when it is due.

Cover (front and back)
Title page: same type treatment as on your cover.
Table of Contents (typography should match what you are doing in your book.
Collaphon. Front of the book (not title page or last page in your book.

PACKAGE YOUR FILE for me to give you feedback -- do not send me anything after 1pm on Saturday. That is too late for me to give you feedback. This will be the last time I can give you recorded, concentrated feedback.

Due Wed Nov 15 pdf
Print a Jayhawk Ink here is what you need to do to make sure your file is correct for Jayhawk Ink

Front Cover is single first page of your InDesign Doc
Back Cover is single last page of your InDesing Doc
Total number of pages has to be divided by 4! so if you have a document that is 62 pages the printer will add 2 blank white pages *you don’t want that.
A black and white version on the cheapest white paper should cost between $6 - $7

If you want to go for it and make a cover proof at LULU.
Than you need your cover as a separate document.

This is Monday’s homework so you know what is ahead of you

USE THE GRID: if you don’t I can’t pass you on this project: a few intensional breaks are fine but all body text!
USE Character Styles: if you don’t use them I can’t pass you on this project so make sure you are using them.
ALL THE RULES that are in the book have to be used like --, hyphenation rules, em or en dash, tabs ect.
FIX all widows and orphans
THE CONTENT should be the showcase of your book not “Graphic Design -- elements -- content is king”
